Though Brody Jenner is indeed one of the most attractive and appealing Socialites amongst the Hollywood Circuit, and The Underground Billionaire Boys Club, he still hasnt managed to garner a core, television audience. As his 2006 showcase, Prince's of Malibu was abruptly CANCELED in due part to Poor Viewership, it seems that his newest Reality Launch may be headed in the SAME direction.

The series' six episodes center around nine contestants vying for Jenner's friendship, or so they think.

"They thought the prize was just our friendship, but during the course of the show they find out that they get to win [a lease on] my place in downtown L.A.," Jenner says.

Until then, they're shacking up in a disgusting Frat house. "When we first met them, some of the guys were naked, and you don't even want to know what else. I was like 'put some clothes on!'" he says.

On Wednesday, December 24, while vacationing with their families at the couple’s favorite winter getaway spot—the Big Bear ski resort in the San Bernardino Mountains outside of Los Angeles—Marcille and Gross decided to open gifts after dinner in their rented cabin. When Marcille opened her gift—a pillow with a note attached that read: “Hope you like it. Give this pillow to the man you love and he will explain.” After taking the pillow and using it as a cushion, Gross got on bended knee and popped the big question with a 3.36-carat 1895 Pave Cartier ring at 11:30 P.M. PST.
“I was in a complete state of shock!” the 24-year-old Los Angeles native tells ESSENCE.com. “I cried. It was totally unexpected. I’m still in shock. I could not even sleep because I was afraid that I might wake up from the most beautiful dream ever.”

“Eva’s mouth went from closed to on the floor!” jokes Gross, 27, a Howard University alum. “She asked, ‘Baby, is this real? Baby, are you playing with me?’ Then she said, ‘Forever and always: Yes, Yes, Yes!’ And jumped up and hugged me, crying, and then she did her happy dance!”

Mychal Bell Shoots HIMSELF [Jena Six]

Mychal Bell, convicted in the "Jena Six" beating case, shot himself in the chest and was taken to the hospital yesterday, days after his arrest on a shoplifting charge.

Mychal Bell's wound isn't life threatening, fortunately. The 18-year-old used a .22-caliber firearm in the shooting around 7:40 p.m. I was still out with Shanae and Steeley when all of this went down.

People are speculating that Mychal was upset over media coverage of the arrest last week.

Mychal is one of a group of black teenagers who once faced attempted murder charges in the 2006 beating of a white classmate at Jena High School. The charges for all of the defendants were reduced.

The severity of the original charges brought widespread criticism and eventually led to more than 20,000 people converging in September 2007 on the tiny central Louisiana town of Jena for the largest civil rights march in decades.

I was advised that the content VIOLATED the Terms and Services of YouTube's Rules and Regulations regarding Images and 'Appropriate' material.

Maybe the fact that Omar Epps, Taye Diggs, Terrance Howard, Marcus Patrick, David Beckam and Seth Gilliam are all NUDE in the Video, contributed to the Prude Pull of My Project.

Over the past year, especially within the past SIX months, I have been BLESSED and FAVORED in that God has given me the opportunity to use my Voice, as well as the Power of The Almighty Pen, to reach Thousands of Men and Women across the country and beyond. As the media blitz began with my first two, YouTube Videos, Young-Black & Gay in America[Parts 1&2], being placed on MediaTakeOut.com in summer of 2008, other media outlets have also featured my projects on their sites.

My assistant, the other day, told me to place my name into a Search Engine; a notion that I had NEVER so much as thought about in my time spent in Los Angeles. He showed me various posts that had been made about me, via the World Wide Web during this significant period of Growth and Maturation that has framed my Life. Until a few days ago, I had NO idea that some of my Videos and Articles had been shared so frequently. It is TRULY an AMAZING feeling, especially, when your Brothers and Sisters stand alongside you, also in support of your Mission and Struggle.

The Black, GLBT community can be a very Seedy and Scandalous venue of Forward Movement. Often times, Brothas will attempt to Wrip You into Shreds, BEFORE they will aid in uplifting your Energy and Spirit. Though Im SURE there are PLENTY of folks who Trash Me BEHIND Closed Doors, I am TRULY HONORED to know that there DOES xist a chosen few who are in 100% of Xem VanAdams.

EARTHA KITT

1927-2008

Eartha Kitt, the self-proclaimed "Sex Kitten" whose sultry voice and catlike purr attracted fans even as she neared 80, has died. The singer, dancer and actress was 81. Kitt, who was recently treated at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, died Thursday in Connecticut of colon cancer.

Dubbed the "most exciting woman in the world" by Orson Welles, Kitt's career spanned six decades, from her start as a dancer with the famed Katherine Dunham troupe to cabarets and acting and singing on stage, in movies and on television. She won two Emmys, and was also nominated for several Tonys and two Grammys.

She persevered through an unhappy childhood as a mixed-race daughter of the South, and made headlines in the 1960s for denouncing the Vietnam War during a visit to the White House. Eartha Kitt was a pioneer, whose talents were so immense and strong that the walls of segregation began to come down when people watched her perform. Many places she performed, she was the first African-American allowed to perform.

Kitt was born in North, S.C., and her road to fame was the stuff of storybooks. In her autobiography, she wrote that her mother was black and Cherokee while her father was white, and she was left to live with relatives after her mother's new husband objected to taking in a mixed-race girl.
An aunt eventually brought her to live in New York, where she attended the High School of Performing Arts, later dropping out to take various odd jobs.

By chance, she dropped by an audition for the dance group run by Dunham, a pioneering African-American dancer. In 1946, Kitt was one of the Sans-Souci Singers in Dunham's Broadway production "Bal Negre."
Kitt's travels with the Dunham troupe landed her a gig in a Paris nightclub in the early 1950s. Kitt was spotted by Welles, who cast her in his Paris stage production of "Faust." That led to a role in "New Faces of 1952," which featured such other stars-to-be as Carol Lawrence, Paul Lynde and, as a writer, Mel Brooks.
In 1960, she married Bill McDonald but divorced him after the birth of their daughter, Kitt.

While on stage, she was daringly sexy and always flirtatious. Offstage, however, Kitt described herself as shy and almost reclusive, remnants of feeling unwanted and unloved as a child. She referred to herself as "that little urchin cotton-picker from the South, Eartha Mae."

Im NOT going to even SAY Who is being Tapped to STAR as The Acclaimed Eartha Kitt in the Big-Screen adaptation of her Life, and RISE to STARDOM.
