Standing at the Dawn of 2009; a New Year filled with Promise, Opportunity and Prestige, I have worked extremely HARD in 2008, exposing myself to People and Network Conglomerates that extend beyond my stomping grounds and safe havens of the Baltimore/DC/Virginia Metropolitan areas.

Transitioning to Los Angeles, California on June 1, 2008, in pursuit of my Artistic Dreams and Passions, ones that overPOWERED my initial endeavors, has been one of the most poignant moments in my Lifetime. Forced, by God's Grace, to reach my potential beyond the boundaries and barriers of money and material comforts, I have been able to reach thousands of young men and young women across the country.

Through a plethora of Video content, I have been Blessed to use my Voice, Experiences, Trials, Tribulations and Triumphs to engage, educate and motivate parts of the generation that follows.


NOW, as I embark upon a new stage in my life, as I transition back HOME to the EAST COAST, I Launch a more professional, mainstream BLOG that will hopefully reach my present audience, as well as hundreds of thousands MORE....

While I was on the East Coast during my Holiday Vacation, I had the distinct pleasure of chillin and hanging out with the Carrie Bradshaw amongst noted Bloggers, in the LGBT community. Known very widely for his Bold, Abrupt and In Yo Face details regarding Love, Sex and Relationship sagas, Adam's Blog has become one of the most popularly visited and read websites amongst Men and Women across the country. As a native and writer of NYC, Adam is currently working on his debut Novel, and continues to contribute articles to an array of mainstream and up & coming periodicals.

Recently, photographer, Scooter Philips took photos of Me in my Underwear. We are STILL debating as to whether or not we should release the photos Publicly, or simply allow them to remain a private part of Scooter's Portfolio. The photos arent at all Sloshy. HOWEVER, in due part to circumstances, it MAY NOT be the BEST idea to allow a Public Peek.

Over the past year, especially within the past SIX months, I have been BLESSED and FAVORED in that God has given me the opportunity to use my Voice, as well as the Power of The Almighty Pen, to reach Thousands of Men and Women across the country and beyond. As the media blitz began with my first two, YouTube Videos, Young-Black & Gay in America[Parts 1&2], being placed on MediaTakeOut.com in summer of 2008, other media outlets have also featured my projects on their sites.

My assistant, the other day, told me to place my name into a Search Engine; a notion that I had NEVER so much as thought about in my time spent in Los Angeles. He showed me various posts that had been made about me, via the World Wide Web during this significant period of Growth and Maturation that has framed my Life. Until a few days ago, I had NO idea that some of my Videos and Articles had been shared so frequently. It is TRULY an AMAZING feeling, especially, when your Brothers and Sisters stand alongside you, also in support of your Mission and Struggle.

The Black, GLBT community can be a very Seedy and Scandalous venue of Forward Movement. Often times, Brothas will attempt to Wrip You into Shreds, BEFORE they will aid in uplifting your Energy and Spirit. Though Im SURE there are PLENTY of folks who Trash Me BEHIND Closed Doors, I am TRULY HONORED to know that there DOES xist a chosen few who are in 100% of Xem VanAdams.
