The Good, 'Fine' Ones are either Married or GAY?

How OFTEN do WOMEN sit amongst one another and Chatter about how 'ALL of the GOOD Men are TAKEN?'How OFTEN do you Hear WOMEN sitting amongst one another, shaking their heads from Side-to-Side, making claims that certain men are 'Too Cute or Too Fine' to be Gay? HMPH!
I wasnt aware of the 'Fact' that Gay men were suppose to be unattractive and unappealing to the female population. I USE TO take it as a compliment when women who were first meeting me, would find out that Im Gay, and say, 'What a Shame. I had my eye on You.'
Now, as I get variations of that same verbal statement, I have to ask myself, what Shame? Gay Men in America are treated by Women, as either the BEST FRIEND, or the ARCH-ENEMY, of sorts. Some women have a DIFFICULT time accepting the notion that a Successful, Educated, Attractive, Cultured and Worldly man, can happily live his life alongside the likes of another man who holds the same level of alluring qualities. Somehow, it has become a universal falsehood that Gay men are extremely effiminate, ultra-sexual beings, who are all running around in Nightclubs and Bath Houses, fucking, getting high and contracting HIV in dark alley ways. Its 'Acceptable' when a man who may fit the stereotype is identified as being Gay. However, some women seem to find a sense of discomfort swallowing the pill that comes in the shape of a Tall, Dark and Handsome specimen who is just as Masculine and secure in himself, as that of his Boyfriend, Partner, Lover or Husband.
He's Too Cute to be Gay? Apparantly, women IGNORE the fact that a large percentage of men who they watch every night on Television, every weekend in Movie Theaters, and listen to every day on Radio Stations across the country, are closeted, GAY men. The sad notion, is the fact that these men are being trained by their agents, managers and publicists to maintain their discreet lifestyles, as to continue to APPEAL to their female fan-base. I think its Incredibly SAD that the Sexual Identity of men, is used as a measuring tool in determining their Masculinity and Appeal as a Male of Standard amongst mainstream society.
Too often, Ive heard women say, 'Well, If he is Gay, it would be such a Waste.'
While there are many women who embrace their Gay brothers, friends, stylists, co-workers and associates, there are Plenty others who despise the existence of Gay men and Gay couples, overall.
Gay men are NOT competing against women for the romantic and emotional connection of other men. An attractive Gay man can NOT 'Steal' a True, HeteroSexual man from the clutches of his woman. A Handsome, Intelligent, Successful man who is attracted to other men is far from being a waiste. In fact, he broadens the spectrum of 50% potential for lifelong unions amongst the Gay community. What some women DONT understand, is the SAME way they can look at an attractive Gay man and find him appealing, a Gay man can look at a woman, and find her just as appealing. The ONLY difference, is that a Gay man isnt plotting how long it will take him to sniff the panties, in comparison to their HeteroSexual counterparts. Gay men have the ability to still find women attractive in such a way that isnt Sexual or full of Lust.
The attraction can be innocent and flirtatious, and remain just as fun and inviting as a one night stand...without the morning after regrets.
