The NYC Premiere of NOTORIOUS

NOTORIOUS Premiere
AMC Lincoln Square Theater
New York, NY
ABOVE
Naturi Naughton [Lil Kim] and Jamal Woolard [B.I.G]
MARY J. BLIGE

One of the most Incredible parts regarding this Biopic project is the fact that Faith Evans, Biggie's Long Term Love, was heavily involved in the creation of this film. In the very beginning stages, she was asked to contribute her input, ideas, concepts and facts as she directly recalls. As a result, the film portrays her relationship alongside B.I.G in such a way that is favorable, I suppose, to Faith's side of the story.
On the contrary, Lil Kim has begun to speak Openly regarding the affairs that surround the events portrayed in the film. Kim has grown increasingly angry and irritated with Faith and Biggie's Mom, for the specific ways in which her character is portrayed throughout the cinematic project. Lil Kim was given an opportunity to contribute her input, ideas, concepts and facts to the scripting process. However, she denied the request; hence her distate for the movie, itself.
In protest, I suppose, Lil Kim did NOT make a Red Carpet appearance for the premiere of the NOTORIOUS film on Wednesday night.

Meagan In Miami [My Baby Muva]

KARU & Y NightClub
Miami
For future reference, Meagan Good is Baby Muva#1 and Kim Kardashian is My Baby Muva#2.
So, over New Years Weekend, Jaime Foxx hosted a Bash at Karu&Y in Miami. Amongst the celebrity guests, was none other than the Beautiful and Buxom, Meagan Good. YUMMERS!
She is going to receive MUCH HYPE here at XemVanAdams.com during this 2009 New Year!
Meagan was actually the FIRST Celebutante I met here in Los Angeles when I arrived. She was shopping in the God-Awful Beverly Center Mall during my first and ONLY visit there. She was so Gorgeous; simply adorning a pair of Gray Leggings, a White Tank Top, White Flops and a Ponytail. She looked AMAZING...as she does HERE as well.
By The Way...
She's posed with her arms covering her BOONDATTAS, because her Top is SHEER. She's smart enough to REALIZE that the Flash from ALL of the Paparazzi Cameras, was going to Xpose her Nipples to the Gods.
Im NOT so sure that I dig the matronly black, belly wrap, but Otherwise, Solange looks SIN.Sational~

Another LEGEND Passes On...

EARTHA KITT
1927-2008
Eartha Kitt, the self-proclaimed "Sex Kitten" whose sultry voice and catlike purr attracted fans even as she neared 80, has died. The singer, dancer and actress was 81. Kitt, who was recently treated at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, died Thursday in Connecticut of colon cancer.

Dubbed the "most exciting woman in the world" by Orson Welles, Kitt's career spanned six decades, from her start as a dancer with the famed Katherine Dunham troupe to cabarets and acting and singing on stage, in movies and on television. She won two Emmys, and was also nominated for several Tonys and two Grammys.

She persevered through an unhappy childhood as a mixed-race daughter of the South, and made headlines in the 1960s for denouncing the Vietnam War during a visit to the White House. Eartha Kitt was a pioneer, whose talents were so immense and strong that the walls of segregation began to come down when people watched her perform. Many places she performed, she was the first African-American allowed to perform.

Kitt was born in North, S.C., and her road to fame was the stuff of storybooks. In her autobiography, she wrote that her mother was black and Cherokee while her father was white, and she was left to live with relatives after her mother's new husband objected to taking in a mixed-race girl.
An aunt eventually brought her to live in New York, where she attended the High School of Performing Arts, later dropping out to take various odd jobs.

By chance, she dropped by an audition for the dance group run by Dunham, a pioneering African-American dancer. In 1946, Kitt was one of the Sans-Souci Singers in Dunham's Broadway production "Bal Negre."
Kitt's travels with the Dunham troupe landed her a gig in a Paris nightclub in the early 1950s. Kitt was spotted by Welles, who cast her in his Paris stage production of "Faust." That led to a role in "New Faces of 1952," which featured such other stars-to-be as Carol Lawrence, Paul Lynde and, as a writer, Mel Brooks.
In 1960, she married Bill McDonald but divorced him after the birth of their daughter, Kitt.

While on stage, she was daringly sexy and always flirtatious. Offstage, however, Kitt described herself as shy and almost reclusive, remnants of feeling unwanted and unloved as a child. She referred to herself as "that little urchin cotton-picker from the South, Eartha Mae."
Im NOT going to even SAY Who is being Tapped to STAR as The Acclaimed Eartha Kitt in the Big-Screen adaptation of her Life, and RISE to STARDOM.

Take TWO Guesses, and its NOT the One Who actually DESERVES the Opportunity.

HollyWoods Royal Black Family...

Will and Jada Pinkett
The REAL...
Mr. and Mrs. Smith

HollyWood's Royal Black Family

As Will CELEBRATES the $107.3 Million Dollar Weekend OPENING of his latest Blockbuster installment, HANCOCK, I have decided to take a Moment to SPOTLIGHT this Black Family of the HollyWood Circuit.

Its very rare, that two Amazingly attractive, talented, ambitious, and head strong individuals, with obvious leadership qualities, can unite, and remain united for 12 Years. It seems like a Short period of time when compared to the 40+ and 50+ years that some of our grandparents and great grandparents remained married. However, in this day and time, ESPECIALLY in regards to how our generation jumps in and out of relationships, 12 years is monumental. Amongst the Hollywood Circuit, inately, 12 years may as well be a Lifetime. Still, against all Odds and beyond all Favorites, Will and Jada have managed to keep their machine of family togetherness, going Strong; in spite of Public Spectacle and Massive Public Attention.

We've ALL 'Heard' the RUMORS in regards to Will and Jada's Passions that include living a 'Swinger' Lifestyle; meanwhile, both being involved in Same-Sex relationships, and using their marriage as a Cover-Up for these extra-marital affairs. However, whether these rumors serve any real Merit isnt necessarily relevant to the fact that together, Will & Jada have managed to create their own Production Company; spearheading such television projects as 'ALL OF US', as well as the Soon-to-be-Released, THE HUMAN CONTRACT; a Written and Directorial Debut from Jada, Specifically. Will and Jada host various soirees in their home, in Honor of their Friends and Family, much like the extravaganza that was thrown to Honor Queen Latifah in 2003, for her Oscar Nominated role in the Critically acclaimed, CHICAGO.

Being nominated for two Lead Actor Oscars himself, for his coveted roles in ALI as well as the Holiday Fave, PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS, Will has managed to successfully transform his career from Grammy winning Rap Star and Television Comedian, to a BlockBuster, $20 Million Dollar per picture, Movie Star. In contrast, Will's financial stability and Hollywood Royal status, has given Jada the opportunity to pursue her various musical ventures, as she performs across country as the lead singer for a Euro-Rock/Rap group, WICKED WISDOM. Jada will reinvent herself on the Major Movie Screen, once again, as she plays a Lesbian character, alongside the likes of Meg Ryan and Annette Benning in the 2008 remake of 'The Women'.

Its obvious that Will and Jada nurture their environment, for both of their children, JADEN and WILLOW, have begun to chew their acting chops; Starring alongside their father in 2006's PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS and 2007's I AM LEGEND. As the result of their initial and rather natural abilities on camera, both Willow and Jaden have follow up projects that are receiving quite a bit of media attention. Jayden will star alongside Jennifer Connely in a November release, THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD, as Willow is already basking in the success of her Summer Sin.Sation, KITT KITTREDGE.

Ultimately, the Smith family, in following in the likes of OSSIE and RUBY DEE, are paving a nitche amongst the Hollywood Royals; one to be Beloved, Honored and Respected, by the Black and White communities, at large. I only HOPE that as I continue my journey towards Mainstream Stardom, in the fields of Screenwriting, Directing and Production, that I will someday have the opportunity to work directly alongside Will, Jada and their children. I HOPE that they remain a united pair, for as LONG as they possibly can; for it becomes even more difficult to fight the demons of Fame, Flash and Fortune; as the Lights upon Center Stage become Brighter.

The Very BEST of My Generation!~

The Underrated, Critically Acclaimed Actress:
Ms. *KIMBERLY ELISE*

Along the realms of such Other, Underrated, rarely Celebrated Screen Legends, as Cicely Tyson, Bea Arthur and Ruby Dee, exists the Maverick, Theatrical Stylings of Ms. kimberly Elise; one of the Most Prolific and Phenomenal Actresses of My Generation. Though Ms. Elise May stand beside the likes of Angela Basset, Vanessa Williams, Halle Berry, Vivica Fox and Jada Pinkett Smith, her Boundless Talents, Leap MILES ahead of theirs. Kimberly is Well Known, Commercially, for her In Depth Portrayals of a Supporting Wife in Films, 'The Manchurian Candidate', 'John Q', and 'Diaries of a Mad Black Woman'.

However, it was the POWERFUL, On Screen Performances, in 'Woman Thou Art Loosed', 'Beloved' and 'The Loretta Claiborne Story' that Polishes the Golden Career of this Stellar, Theatrical Siren. I am ALWAYS in Awe of her Vocal and Facial Delivery; Emotionally, Empathetically and with the Realism of a Daily Moment; often times gone awry.

Kimberly Elise has been Hand Picked by Executive Producer, SHONDA RIMES(Greys Anatomy), to Make an XCLusive Cameo Appearance on Private Practive(Greys Anatomy Spin-Off), NEXT WEDNESDAY Night, 9pm, ABC. I am So thrilled. I Love and Support the Incomprable Talents of this Woman.
