I welcome and appreciate ALL of the comments, responses and opinions that are sent to me from EVERYONE across the country. HOWEVER, it truly ANNOYS me when the 'Straight' Dudes feel the NEED to ALWAYS begin their messages with the DISCLAIMER.....

always then, followed by a compliment and 'understanding' of something I posted here on this site, or something I may have said in one of my videos regarding the LGBT community, and the Struggles we face. It's sometimes even FUNNY to me how the Dudes who I write with/work with Day to Day, will say, 'Im not trynna be Gay, BUT...What kind of Cologne U Wearing?'

SERIOUSLY, WHY Do 'Straight Dudes' feel the NEED to often times, SECURE their Sexual Identity, by delivering the 'VERBAL DISCLAIMER' before offering another man a compliment?

It KILLS ME that young boys are raised in society to BELIEVE that as an Alpha Male, he is NOT allowed to feel that another man is attractive, and/or, verbally express such. WOMEN are NOT the only species who find other women knowingly attractive. DUDES KNOW when another man is physically appealing, and it does NOT border along the lines of Homosexual desires.

Accordingly, to All of My 'STRAIGHT DUDE' readers, IT IS OKAY FOR YOU TO FEEL COMPASSION FOR THE STRUGGLES OF GAY MEN, without feeling as if you are admitting or acknowledging Same-Sex feelings.

Society has taught young men, from childhood, the Rules and Regulations regarding Sexual Identity. One of those rules, Unfortunately, is that 'STRAIGHT DUDES' dont associate with 'GAY DUDES', and they definitely DON'T offer 'Those Men' compliments, accolades and/or support. I REALIZE that my 'STRAIGHT DUDE' readers and viewers aren't intentionally being Offensive. I REALIZE that they are simply acting off of their embedded teachings, values and upbringings. I simply think its RIDICULOUS that across the board, ESPECIALLY amongst my Black and Latino viewership, I receive a plethora of DISCLAIMERS at the beginning of such commentary and response.

Im not gay or anything, but one of my best friends watches your videos all of the time, and she shared your Young Black and Gay series with me. Man, I was so impressed with your strength and confidence. You are a brave men to stand up in support of gay men everywhere. Im 25 and grew up knowing that my uncle is gay. Everyone in the family knew that he was gay because he always brought his lover with him to holiday events, and they lived together as 'roommates'. My mother told me that he was gay, but my father and the rest of the family never discussed it. They are still together now. I have so much respect for him, and you as well, even though Im not gay. Keep doing what you're doing, I know you're helpung alot of people.

Barack Obamas Economic Plan

$700 Billion Stimulus Package from Congress?

As our nation struggles to emerge from the recession compounded by a credit crunch, President Elect, Barack Obama, is going to have to reach much HIGHER than the $175 Billion that he planned to request from Congress, during his Campaign.

Recently, Obama has urged New Congress to pass a quick economic Stimulus Bill, as he has also pledged to HELP the troubled auto industry. Obama recently ADMITTED that the economy is likely to get WORSE before it gets BETTER. With less than 60 days left before Obama takes his oath of office, he has also blessed the Bush Administration's bailout of the financial industry.

In a Nut-Shell, what ALL of this means is that Barack Obama IS still going to CUT taxes for the Middle Class. HOWEVER, even with his decision to RAISE taxes for those making more than $250,000.00 a year, he's going to ALLOW the Bush Administration's Tax Cuts to Expire, first.

BASICALLY, Obama isn't going to hit those in the Top Tier of Economic wealth until 2011.

It 'LOOKS GOOD' on the part of a Politician and His Party Not to Increase ANYONE'S Taxes until a minimum of two years following his appointment. Blah! Blah! Blah!...

Ultimately, I DO BELIEVE that Obama WILL create the 2.5 Million Jobs for Americans. HOWEVER, I Do Not BELIEVE it will happen by the end of 2010 as he estimates, nor Do I BELIEVE that the Majority of the positions will open in Environmentally Friendly Technology Trades.

I KNEW that Beyonce's camp would CAPITALIZE Quick from the Bangladesh Produced Track that Caterpaulted Lil Waynes last LP into Million Unit $ales Week Phenomenon.

As Ive previously stated, its the Marketing Schemes, and NOT the 'TALENT' that keeps this Girl on TOP.

Meanwhile, theres absolutely NOTHING about Beyonce's Pedestrian, Mundane appearance that Im LOVING right Now...NOTHING-at-ALL. I was recently contacted by the Creative Director and CEO of Beluchi Lifestyle in regards to all of the work that Ive been doing in part of The Xem VanAdams YouTube Page and Videos. As a result, I have joined forces with the brand and website specifically, in creating Xclusive Videos that are marketed towards the Fashion Circuit- Beluchi Lifestyle Viewers; regarding the state of Young, Gay. Black men in America.

This is yet another opportunity for me to EXPOSE issues and ideas that effect the Black, LGBT community; a sanction of individuals who arent specifically given a platform of recognition or media attention.

For our first collaboration, I was asked to create a video that comments on the notion of OPULENCE. Specifically, I discussed Opulence, and the ways in which too many of our Young Men are garnering the surface aspects of Life's 'Jewels'. As I vowed to myself that I would NOT participate in the I AM...BEYONCE/I AM...SASHA FIERCE

'Media Blitz', I am compelled to review this third, solo, studio LP from our reigning Songstress of R&B.

Over the past month, we have been saturated in the essence of Beyonce's lead singles, SINGLE LADIES, as well as, IF I WERE A BOY. Both tracks have Re-Introduced Beyonce to the POP Music Scene, as a woman who takes full advantage of her Sensuality, Dance Training and Cross Culture-Market Appeal. She has PROVEN that it doesnt take as much TALENT as it does Intelligent MARKETING SCHEMES, to garner an overload of public and industry attention. Beyonce Knowles has once again, FOOLED a Fan-Following into proclaiming her as the Quintessential 'ICON' of our generation; NEVERMIND the FACT that FIFTY PERCENT of her songs are painted with lyrics that are more suitable for the albums she released when she was living her tender, poignant, teenage years. HOWEVER, through a juxtaposition of Dual MEDIA Personalities and a plethora of Cross-Genre sounds, Beyonce HAS, INDEED, comprised a Two-Disc LP that is WORTHY of Critical and Commercial Recognition.

Initially, I wrote this album off as yet another, Hap-Hazzard attempt at a Self-Proclaimed, Industry 'LEGEND' taking for granted her Fan-Base and True Artistry. While I STILL dont Hail Beyonce as the SUPREME TALENT that so many other Reporters, Critics and Associated Press Commentators claim her to be, I DO, as always, commend her for her ability to APPEAL to broad audiences.

I commend her for following in the footsteps of Diana Ross, Madonna, Janet Jackson, Cher and other GAY and Mainstream ICONS, by challenging the mainstay of her Sound. I APPLAUD Beyonce for exploring the ramifications and boundary modes of the industry, and allowing this third, solo LP to push the lines of categorization. What she has achieved on this album is the ability to envelop the listening pleasures of those who appreciate Folk, Soft Rock, Acoustic, Hip-Hop, Country, Pop and R&B Music, alike.

While MANY Blacks have had a DIFFICULT time absorbing her Dare-To-Be-Different approach to reaching TRUE LEGEND STATUS on this album, I have found a liking to the Less-Than-Publicly-Adored tracks.

As Im typing this review, I am listening to what has become my FAVORITE SONG on the I AM....project. THAT'S WHY YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL is an illustration of Poetic and Melancholic Genius. From its Folk/Acoustic blend of soft guitar riffs and melodic chords of circumstance, to its bland, forged and layered lyrics, the song is by far, the BEST SONG on the album.

Creatively, Stylistically, Lyrically and Rhythmically, THAT'S WHY YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL Soars FAR and BEYOND the cliche' antics that comprise, RADIO, DIVA, VIDEO PHONE and SINGLE LADIES. Though those four tracks were written, recorded and placed on the album to entertain and satisfy the Immature ears of those who claim to be 'Music Lovers', Beyonce embodies WomanHood, Growth and Maturation on the Beautiful compositions of DISAPPEAR, HALO, AVE MARIA and SATTELITES.

The blend of Femininity, Strength and Empowerment that evokes from the lyrics that create the tracks that the 'URBAN MARKET' is IGNORING, are the TIMELESS SINGLES that will live on to DEFINE the Promise of Beyonces mainstay in mainstream, American Music.

As I have Criticized BeYonce on MANY occassions for the lack of depth and conviction that framed past singles, SUGA MAMA, FREAKEM DRESS, GREENLIGHT and GET ME BODIED, I cant help but to praise her array of Vocal and Melodic prowess on her redemption tracks, BROKEN HEARTED GIRL, SMASH INTO YOU, HELLO and SCARED OF LONELY. As an artist and an Honest Judge of all that creates the Artistic Grace of our Media Conglomeration, I am placing my STAMP OF APPROVAL on Beyonce's Stand-In Sanctions.

She has given 'The Girlz' and 'The Kidz' their 'Satisfy The Fans' Potion with the MAJORITY of the 'I AM SASHA FIERCE' side of her Dual Disc. Its the rare essence of the 'I AM BEYONCE' collection that will continue to frame her career in the Lights of those women who are awarded LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT accolades for their contributions to American, Pop Culture.

On a Scale of 1 to 5 Stars, Our African American Ingenue of Cross-Over Sound and Electric, Stage Performance earns 3 and 1/2 Stars from XEM VanAdams.

I can not give her PRAISE and ACCOLADES for her constant deliverence of Cliche', Conventional,

'Walkin In Da Club with My 6 Inch Stilleto Heels- Lookin Fine- Music Pumpin In Da Background' lyrics. I can, However, pay Homage to the lyrical content and rhythmic satisfaction that cements Beyonce in a Frame of Popular, Adored, Musicianship. I will NEVER DENY the Diamond Shine of Beyonce's Performance, WOW Factor. Im simply DIGGING Beneath the Surface of her Physical, Gay-Glamorized Appearance, and peering into the Soul of a STAR who Truly comes ALIVE on the pieces of the album that too MANY are IGNORING.

In order for this album to $ell BEYOND the 700,000-750,000 units that its SURE to push this week, alone, Beyonce MUST Release, HALO, RADIO, DIVA and DISAPPEAR; whether I like the lesser, or Not.

In a Perfect World, THATS WHY YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL would be a Smash-Hit Success. I have already created the Video Treatment in My Creative Mind.

Last week, I was having a conversation with a buddy of mine, in Baltimore. For the sake of this posting, Im going to call him Jalyn. Jalyn is a Strict Top, and for the most part, exudes a Masculine, Alpha-Male Brovado. Over the past few years, I have engaged in conversations with him, where he describes for me the various young men who he has slept with and dated. The majority of the dudes he tends to date are rather effiminate. Accordingly, Ive witnessed his reaction to the behaviors of young men who possess feminine qualites and mannerisms; most of which are by nature, and not by force. Jalyn tends to be extremely abrasive in his verbal, disparaging commentary, regarding feminine dudes. Though he sleeps with them by night, he calls many of them Faggots and Sissies by day. Usually, I let the mud slide, but recently, I pulled him up on the issue. I said to him, 'Jalyn, You have a prejudice against soft, feminine men.' He paused for a moment and replied, 'Yea, I do.'

What has always bothered me about fairly Masculine Brothas who judge, criticize and chastize those who are Feminine, is the fact that it further divides the united stand of our community; a divide that exists along a plethora of lines and alignment. I am sometimes SHOCKED, even now, by the fact that dudes will allow these same young men to suck their dicks and swallow their nut, but publicly degrade them for their behaviors and mannerisms, alike.

In 2001, I dated a young man who lived in Washington, DC. He was two years older than me, at the time. I think he considered himself to be 'The Trade'; a young man who is able to give-off the physical prowess and brovado of a HeteroSexual male.
Spending time with him and his friends for four months, gave me an inside look at just how FEARFUL some Gay men are of the presense of other, flamboyant, Gay men. These feminine and flamboyant young men are a reminder of our attractions to the same sex. As a result, those who are not as in touch with their sexual identity, are fearful of those who are.

This level of FEAR and ANXIETY is one of the stems of the word, FAGGOT.

For the past seven years, I have steadily watched young men who naturally walk with a switch, speak with a lisp and appear with soft features, not only receive torment from the community, but also receive a great deal of ridicule from the Gay community itself. It frightens me, often times, to know that the effiminate males of our community can not even be promised refuge within the confines of our subcultured circle. We use the word FAGGOT so freely, not taking into account the fact that by doing so, we are empowering others to use it readily AGAINST us.

I FEAR the levels of FEAR that some of our Masculine Brothas Feel when in the Presence of Our Feminine Brothas.
Its that sense of FEAR that is responsible for the Deaths and Slayings of so Many of our Perished & Forgotten.

There are Brothas of the 'Trade Persuasion' who defend and honor those who are labeled as 'FAGGOTS'...'SISSIES' and 'PUNKS'

However, to the Ignorant Outside Community, Masculine or Feminine, we're ALL considered to be the Same;

Hence the Reason PROP 8 was Passed on Election Day.
