I LOVE GOD! GOD LOVES ME.
The Hundreds upon Hundreds of You who visit Here, at EMERALD EYE ENTERTAINMENT, on a regular basis, are WELL aware of the FACT that I have Uprooted my Life to the West Coast. I have stepped out on FAITH; held up by the Strength and Prayers of My Family and Dear Friends, as God is allowing EVERYTHING to fall into Place for Me.
I decided, 3 Months Ago, that I was NOT going to allow ANOTHER Birthday to roll around, NOT feeling 100% Happy and Content with My Professional Life. It is TRUE, beyond a reasonable doubt, that MONEY does NOT create an Ultimate Level of Happiness or Contentment. I've made enough Money to Pay My Bills, Save a Lil, Play with a Lil, and Splurge a Lil on the Weekends. From the Outside Looking In...Everything was 'GOOD'
I THANK God and Praise Him for providing me with an Education, which in turn, provided me with Opportunities and Experiences working with other people, in aiding their emotional and maladaptive disorders. However, Between October 2007 and March 2008, I woke up EVERY Morning, and LITERALLY, had to give myself a Pep-Talk, just to get Out of Bed and Face the Day. I KNEW that GOD had placed Me in My position for GOOD Reason, BUT, I also knew that He was pushing Me towards 'Something' Greater.
YES, It Is SCARY to Walk Away from a Comfortable LifeStyle. YES, It Is SAD to Walk Away from a Beautiful, Queen Size, Cherry Wood Sleigh Bed. LMAO!...but, ULTIMATELY, I Do Not want to turn 30 Years Old in a few years, and still be working as a Therapeutic Behavioral Specialist; NEVER having pursued a Professional Writing career, at Full Force. Everyone knows that it is my DREAM to Write for Television, Magazine and/or Film. I have spent YEARS creating Stories, Screenplays, Characters, and Concepts that I believe have the Layers and Dimensions to see the light of day. My move to the West Coast is NOT a plot to abandon Baltimore; for I LOVE My HomeTown, and I WILL return SOONER than LATER. I am simply placing myself in an environment that celebrates Artists of every spectrum. I want to Fall-In-Love with My Professional Life, as Much as I have fallen in Love with Other aspects of Who I've become. The time is NOW.
Meanwhile, Yall KNOW that Im gonna HOOK this Place UP in Due Time. Though Im LEAVING 88% of My Furniture and Decore with Nyasha, at The Owings Mills Apartment, Ill spend the ENTIRE Summer, Making this Place look JUST-LIKE the Visual, Emerald Eye, Planetary Oasis, that Yall have become accustomed to Visiting, and Viewing in Photos. This shall be My Lil West Coast Bungalo.
CLEARLY, My HiroShima Statuette is NOT going to fit in HERE!...Dammit. LP!
I will NOT be making ANY New Posts for a WHILE...Until I get Very Comfortable and Settled with My New Job and New Place. I PROMISE that I will be Releasing SIN.SATIONAL Shots of My Life in Los Angeles, ALL Summer and Fall Season Long.
PLEASE Continue to send ME All of Your New Photos as Well. I Do NOT Want to HAVE to Visit MySpace, just to SEE Whats Going Down on the East Coast.
