Oh...So...Now that 'Sex and The City' has been OFF of the Air for 3 Years, and theres a 'Major Studio Film', based on the acclaimed Series, that Needs to generate Dollar$ and Attention...its Okay to Add a BLACK Cast Member? I Get It.
Did You EVER Notice How there were NEVER any Black Faces in the Shops, Restaurants, Streets, Taxi's, Buildings, Fashion Parties, Clubs, Cafes, Pubs, or Anywhere else during the Six Years that The Sex and The City Series ran on HBO?*
I studied Media and Public Relations, amongst My Film Studies for 6 Years, between Temple and Towson University. I understand the Marketing of 'Appealing' to the 'Urban/Ethnic' Market, during Moments where LARGE revenue is Desired. 'Jenni.Fat' Hudson, who Undeservingly Won an Oscar Award for her 'Dramatic Performance' in the 2006 Musical, DREAMGIRLS, has recently been cast as Carrie Bradshaws 'Personal Assistant' in the Movie Version of The Sex and The City, Television Series. It kinda PISSES ME OFF, because HBO is only trying to Garner the MASS BLACK AUDIENCE Attention...NOW; Males and Females. This will be Jennifers FIRST OnScreen Performance since her Oscar win, and the 'BLACKS' are going to be SURE to Run to the Theaters, in drove numbers, to see her perform, again. Thats what Bill, Phillip, Joseph and The Other Studio Executives are Banking On.
Im almost POSITIVE that theres going to be a KARAOKE Scene, where Carrie and Jennifer are 'Drunk, having a Girls Night Out', and Jennifer is going to get on the Mic to OverSing a Tune...a Remake of Sorts. Geez. So PREDICTABLE!~
Not Only that, BUT...The song is going to be released to radio in March or April of 2008, and it shall SpearHead the Promotion for the Movies Soundtrack. WATCH!~ Listen to What Xem Says~
I guess this is GREAT for Jenni.Fat(Please LOSE 36.8 Pounds). I mean, her Agent and Management must be THRILLED. The 'Sex and the City' film is sure to do 'DEVIL WEARS PRADA' Numbers, for the Studio. The film is opening on May 30, 2008; Memorial Day Weekend; just as DEVIL WEARS...did as well, in May of 2006.
Filming for the Sex and The City film begins this Wednesday, September 19, 2007~
It just KILLS ME how Blair Underwood was the ONLY Black to Appear on the Television Series during its 6 Year Run, and he played the Stereotypical, Sexual, Male, Brute Role. Yes, He really did. He was Fucking the Least Attractive Character, with the Red Bob Hairdo. Whats her Name?
Now, for Dollar Potential, J.Hud is Carries 'Assistant'. As AYANA would say,'Chile...'
Im STILL going to See the film in May. I mean...Really. I Dont like being Out-Of-The-Loop*
I DO HOPE that the Script, Costumes, Music and Plot Lines are Interesting, Fresh and Dynamic. I BET THEY MAKE Jenni.Fat LOSE some Pounds to fit the Xquisite Costumes.
I WONDER How Much J.Hud is being Paid for her Role. Probably a Cool Million$~
