Overall, the show was BETTER than past years, though Ryan Seacrest was not quite Entertaining as the Host. Accordingly, the Stadium/Arena like seating arrangements left 50% of the Audience with the Constant View of the Backs of the various Performers(s) and Presenter(s). It was HORRIBLE*

Kanye West did NOT perform, afterall. He was a part of a skit that incorporated his single, STRONGER, into a vocal 'competition' between He and the Actor Dude from THE OFFICE. It was a Total WAISTE of On-Air Time. Im so Dead Serious.

The LARGE Winners of the night were the Variety/Music Program, TONY BENNET: AN AMERICAN CLASSIC, the MiniSeries, PRIME SUSPECT: THE FINAL ACT (MASTERPIECE THEATER), and the MiniSeries, BROKEN TRAIL. Each of these 3 Projects collected 3 Emmy Awards, a piece.

One of the Most PROLIFIC Moments of the Night was when Queen Latifah Spotlit the 30 Year Anniversary of Alex Haleys, ROOTS; being the Third Highest Rated TV Program/Series of All Time. Some of the Original, and Legendary Cast, such as LOUIS GOSSET JUNIOR and CICELY TYSON, were on hand to receive the Honor. The cast was greeted with a much deserved, Standing Ovation*

CHRISTINA AGUILERA performed along the Musical and Entertainment Legend, TONY BENNET, and she even climbed upon a Piano throughout the performance; Pregnant, Glowing, and Sounding AMAZING...as Usual.

Ryan Seacrest introduced her as The BEST FEMALE VOCALIST OF OUR GENERATION.

Clearly....
