ALL of you KNOW that I am HERE in Baltimore with My Friends, and they have me so DISTRACTED from my daily Grinde of Posting, Filming, Editing, Promoting.
Its a Nice Lil Relief, I Might Add.
Nonetheless, in January 2009, as this Blog will TRANSITION away from BlogSpot and into My Full-Fledged, Mainstream Site, I will ONLY be using DAILY MOTION to Post and Promote Artist Videos. It ANNOYS the HELL out of Me when something that I have taken the time to Post is abruptly DELETED; Especially since Im NOT in front of the computer, 18 Hours A Day, as I am in California.
NOW...In ALL HONESTY, after viewing the DIVA and HALO videos in their entirety, MORE than Once...Umm...YES, I am rather on the fence.
While I still LOVE and ENVELOP the raw artistry and aesthetics of HALO, along with the Ever-So-Handsome, Guest Appearance from Micheal Ealy, I am NOT able to FORCE Myself to Enjoy DIVA. Ive TRIED...and I absolutely despise Beyonce's Costuming, Hair, Scene Set Ups, Props, Choreography, and Art Direction.
HATE ME for Saying So...BUT...It Doesnt Matter because you just read it.
I DO, However, ENJOY the 'Broken Doll' Poses that she Gives Us towards the End of the first, half-mark, performance routine. Very Avante Garde'.
I THINK the PROBLEM is that We, Collectively, EXPECT her(BEYONCE) to soar so FAR and BEYOND the boundaries of Glam, Style, Pazzazz and Standard, that its becoming More and More Difficult to be WoW.d by her presentations and showcases. So, I took a moment and put Ashanti, Brandy, Monica, Keyshia Cole and even Mya in the Spotlight DIVA role of the Video.
YES...I would STILL be dissatisfied. So, its NOT simply BECAUSE She's 'Beyonce'.
I DONT Enjoy the DIVA Video. PERIOD.
NOW...I Wonder...Are ALL of the Anthology Videos, To Be Released in February 2009, going to be so Raw, Simple and Mundane?
As an Artist, I LOVE and APPRECIATE Simplicity. HOWEVER, The essence of it becomes a little too PEDESTRIAN once its evident that EFFORT is being Put into 'Coming Off' as Natural, Plain and Simple.
DO YOU ALL UNDERSTAND WHAT I MEAN?
Like, How STUPID would I look to 'TRY' and 'COME OFF' in my videos as being 'ARTICULATE'.
Either I Am...or I Am NOT. In Life, Artists shouldnt TRY to CREATE an IMAGE of themselves that isnt a True Reflection of their Character.

So what was JayZ too ugly to be her Halo? Beyaki is so shallow and boring. Her voice does NO justice to the song. It is definitely a Leona Lewis song. Beyaki is not suited for songs like IIWAB and Halo. It’s not who she really is.
…..Now Diva, that ghetto mess represents Beyaki to the fullest. She is so over and done with and killing her own weak career. That video is an absolute misguided ghetto-fied mess. She is not a diva, didn’t sell a million in a week, but thank god she had enough sense to wait until after a MONTH selling a million to release this whackness.
Beyaki is an embarrassment to black female artists around the world. She bragging about killing the games, and bodies in the trunk…She is not bold enough to name the bodies. She better clean up her act if she expects to get invited to high profile events.

Beyonce is fire. Baddest chick in the game. The girl has got it all looks, talent, sex appeal, nice personality and charisma. It’s rare when you find that combination. Black women should be glad to have her as a role model.
I absolutely LOVE Beyonce but these videos are a hot mess!! She needs to quit letting Melina direct so many videos because they are beginning to all look alike. The hottest thing about Diva is some of the dancing-otherwise, i’m like WHAT? It’s not a good look! As far as Halo goes, I am SUPER disappointed in this video because this song has the potential to be that “icon” hit she’s looking for-i’m talking Celine Dion, Whitney Houston-type icon hit! The song is incredible vocally but the video is so BORING! She needs some fresh ideas for vids man!! What’s really sad is she’s allegedly planning to do a video for every song on the album! I can’t take too many more of those “Sasha Fierce” videos with the 2 girls dancing behind her.

I understand everyone has a different opinion and that's cool but Halo is a song that needs to have a video that's simple! The song is about love and being in love! Sometmes the most simple things can make you fall in love with someone. I really think the Halo video is good. I don't think anything should have been different. It showed love and not lust!
This is one of her better videos if you ask me. I don't think we have to always have Beyonce shaking her tailfeather in order for the video to be a classic. Some of the best videos from back in the day were simple and this video is simpe You have beyonce looking natural and beautiful Mike did his thing as well.
Sometimes we are so hard on Artists I know I have been as well as saying some harsh things about Rinanna and others but the truth is we pay these people to entertain us and if they don't do it for you, there are tons of other artists out there for you to choose from.
I remember back in the day when Miriah and Celine and Whitney were the Top dogs and how the media made them and the media tried to break two of them. I will admit Whitney did do a lot of it to her self.
My point is say you don't like the song, say why but you don't have to hate on a artist. That is one of the things I'm going to take into the new year be honest. Be real but also be kind. These artist are people too.
To those who wonder why is he typing all of this Man I can't tell you lol but I think this new media has destroyed us and the Artist. We know too much about artists lives. Everytime they do something right or wrong then it is news to us! Last but not least everytime you think of saying something bad about a artist think if that was your mom or sister and someone posted pictures and all the families personal info. I don't think that would make any of us too happy!

PS. Beyonce has sold 1.5 million copies of her album I Am Sasha Fierce and the Single, "Single Ladies is the Current Hot 100 and R&B # 1 Single! Both Charts she has spent more than Multiple weeks. Also Beyonce's new single Diva enters Billboard at number 95!
