Many of you KNOW that I am NOT a FAN of Rihanna's Vocal skills, Stage presence or present 'Status' as this New, POP 'SuperStar'. Though Rihanna doesnt Write her own material, Dance or Sing worth a Damn, she does indeed embody a young woman whose Style and Dare-To-Be-Different prowess are worth a Second Glance.
Rihanna has just been named the FACE of GUCCI's Winter 2008, UNICEF Campaign. Alongside Creative Director, Frida Giannini, Rihanna has embarked upon a series of Commercials and Design House Appearances, marketing and wearing the GUCCI Brand.I LOVE Rihanna's ability to blend layers of Scarves, Necklaces, Bangles, Torn Jeans, Motorcycle Gloves, Vintage Tees, and Rock & Roll Accessories into most of her Stage and Red Carpet Ensembles. Though NONE of the Original Concepts or Ideas are of her own, She sure as hell does have a SIN.SATIONAL Stylist.

Well, Rihanna style is pretty fly. Yeah even though those styles arent hers, arent we all just carbon copies of many different styles? Unless someone makes or sells they design, everyone is just taking clothes from someone else. Now is she an Icon? She needs to be seasoned more lol.
Rihanna may not be the best singer or dancer but girl knows what sells...Image. Ri Ri has the image down pat! I love everything she has on (except that sheep skin ensemble she wore last night...However, she redeemed herself in her "Rehab" outfit). And I'm always checkin for her at awards shows because I know the fashion and the performance is going to be on point.
She isn't the best singer yet her songs are infectious.
I have to give Rihanna her propers...She is going to be a pop sensation for probably the next decade.
Will she be legendary like Beyonce? Maybe, if she keeps up with her style and making great pop tunes...
