A NEW Batch of Black Male Actors

Columbus Short
[Stomp The Yard]

Pooch Hall

[The Game: CW]

Idris Alba

[Daddys Little Girls]

[Buffalo Soldiers]

Keith Robinson

[DreamGirls]

Laz Alonso

[Captivity]

Over the Past Year or So, Our Movie Screens have been Sprinkled with a Batch of New, Black, Male Talent; NOT to Mention, their Charming Smiles and Alluring Bravados. In a Day and Age where some of the Rawest and Most Electrifying Stage and Screen Artistry is being Passed Over for the Unfair Placement of R&B, POP and HIP HOP Performers being Placed in Lead and Supporting Movie Roles, its kind of Refreshing to See Our Brothers being given a Minimal Chance.

HOWEVER, I am Personally, Sick and Tired, already, of seeing these Young Men NOT being pushed into Film Roles that shall Model their True Dramatic Talents; securing Longevity and Critical Acclaim within the Cinematic Industry. Sometimes, I am TRULY bothered by the fact that the SAME, Black, Ensemble Casts are Created, to forge a Screenplay, Saturated in the SAME, 'Black Type of Film' Plots. If You've seen THE BEST MAN, TWO CAN PLAY THAT GAME, THE WOOD, BROWN SUGAR, and So On...and So On...You've seen them All. Theres a bit of Holiday Mess Premiering This Weekend; starring Morris Chestnutt and Gabrielle Union, as a Matter of Fact.

UGH!

Im just HOPING that These Brothas; Columbus, Idris, Laz, Pooch and Keith Robinson, DONT Fall Unfortunate Victim to the levels of Type Casting that HollyWood is Notorious for doing to Young, Fresh Talent. I HOPE to see Each of these Young Men performing in Films that Posess a Serious, Cross Over Appeal.
