The NYC Premiere of NOTORIOUS

NOTORIOUS Premiere
AMC Lincoln Square Theater
New York, NY
ABOVE
Naturi Naughton [Lil Kim] and Jamal Woolard [B.I.G]
MARY J. BLIGE

One of the most Incredible parts regarding this Biopic project is the fact that Faith Evans, Biggie's Long Term Love, was heavily involved in the creation of this film. In the very beginning stages, she was asked to contribute her input, ideas, concepts and facts as she directly recalls. As a result, the film portrays her relationship alongside B.I.G in such a way that is favorable, I suppose, to Faith's side of the story.
On the contrary, Lil Kim has begun to speak Openly regarding the affairs that surround the events portrayed in the film. Kim has grown increasingly angry and irritated with Faith and Biggie's Mom, for the specific ways in which her character is portrayed throughout the cinematic project. Lil Kim was given an opportunity to contribute her input, ideas, concepts and facts to the scripting process. However, she denied the request; hence her distate for the movie, itself.
In protest, I suppose, Lil Kim did NOT make a Red Carpet appearance for the premiere of the NOTORIOUS film on Wednesday night.

The son on the left in the picture of Faith and the family looks like he's had a rough life.

Is it odd that I love Jay-Z now more than ever?

I Jus left the movies from seeing this, and i must say it was a hit, while watching the movie it felt surreal that after 11 yrs, he's gone. I do agree and can understand why kim, feels the way she does. I would recommend everyone to go see this movie, this made me think about when music was fun and all the records back then u "danced" and not "two-stepped" as well as bringing back the "Coogi" sweaters...lol
