Whats so 'INTERESTING' about this film, regarding a Strong Woman who Fights and Struggles Tooth and Nail to keep her children OFF of the Streets, and yet finds her Back Up-Against-a-Wall when she Unexpectedly gets laid off from her job, is the FACT that the film does NOT require a cameo from the Questionable, Bafoonery Caricacture of MADEA; and yet and still, She APPEARS in this Project.

Im going to see the film TODAY, with Wesley, in Matinee. Im WONDERING How it is that Tyler Perry has Managed to SUCCESSFULLY Distribute 5 Films in the Past 3 Years, All Packaged by LionsGate Pictures, each garnering OVER $50,000,000 [Box Office SUCCESS]...and Yet, Seemingly, he's STILL having to Put MADEA into the Projects, as to, what SEEMS LIKE, Satisfy the Executives?

...or, is The BLACK AUDIENCE Not Yielding in Our Efforts to Accept Films of Deep and Heart Wrenching Content, WITHOUT the Presense of Comedic Banter and Plain Ol SILLINESS?

Tyler Perry is indeed, One of the Black Filmmakers Whose Artistry, I admire, Moreso for his Blessings and Drive, than the Characters he creates, and the Storylines he Presents. Hes a Man Who used Comedy and Caricacture to Kick in the Doors of HollyWood, as to be able to Develop OTHER 'Types' of Projects. Still, However, despite the Somewhat Positive Nature of his Work, he has yet to use his Artistic License and HollyWood Influence to Create a Project that TRULY incites the Existence and Stance of Black Societal Accord.

I Respect and Honor Tyler Perry. I just Want to See him Present a Film that TRULY Hits the Hearts, Souls and Minds of Middle America; Something MORE Controversial, and Less, Easy Going and Comical. Thats All.

Angela Bassets Talents are FAR MORE Exceeding than the Demands of this Role. I Guess, as My Father Says, 'She Needed a PayDay'.
